Arguably the greatest strong man that ever lived, Magnus won the World's Strongest Man Contest in 1991, 1994, 1995, and 1996, becoming the second man (after Bill Kazmaier of the U.S.) to win three years in a row and the second (after fellow Icelander Jon Pall Sigmarsson) to win 4 times. Magnus began powerlifting in 1984 and won Senior titles in Europe in 1989 and 1990.
